Malmö FF secured a comfortable 3-0 victory against Trelleborgs FF in a match played on Saturday afternoon at Eleda Stadion in front of a crowd of 14,073 spectators. It took just two minutes for the home team to open the scoring, as Hugo Andersson pushed the ball in after a nice assist from Anders Bleg Christensen.

Malmö FF dominated the game from start to finish, increasing their lead in the 26th minute through Andreas Aalen Vindheim, who neatly placed the ball in after a fine pass from Christensen. Ten minutes later it was time again, as Marcus Antonsson extended the lead to 3-0 with a lovely volley from a cross by Egzon Binaku.

Trelleborgs FF tried to find their way back into the match, but Malmö's defense stood firm and largely kept away all the dangerous chances from the visiting team. The match was relatively physical with several hard tackles, resulting in two yellow cards, one for Malmö's Carlos Strandberg and one for Trelleborg's Kofi Sarkodie.

Malmö FF made several substitutions during the match to maintain the tempo and counter fatigue, while Trelleborgs FF tried to regain some energy through a few of their own changes. The match felt decided at 3-0, so Malmö FF mostly continued to play in a controlled manner and maintain possession of the ball.
