Örebro defeated Östersund with a narrow 2-1 scoreline at Behrn Arena during Saturday night's match in Allsvenskan. The over 5,000 spectators witnessed a tough match where both teams showcased strong defensive play.

The match started with a warning just four minutes in when Örebro's Nordin Gerzic received a yellow card. Östersund's Rewan Amin also received a warning after six minutes, followed by another for Noah Sonko Sundberg in the 20th minute.

After a balanced match, it was Örebro that took the lead in the 34th minute with a goal from Victor Sköld, assisted by Gerzic. However, Östersund was not ready to give up and quickly responded with a goal from Tom Pettersson, assisted by Tesfaldet Tekie, leveling the score at 1-1 after 48 minutes.

Östersund made several substitutions in an attempt to secure an equalizer, but it did not go their way. They remained at 1-1 after 90 minutes and added time. Match referee Patrik Eriksson issued yet another warning to Dino Islamovic in the 86th minute and a final one to Hosam Aiesh in the very last minute of the match.
