In a packed Studenternas, IK Sirius FK faced off against IF Brommapojkarna in a goal-rich match in Allsvenskan. Despite early warnings for Tim Björkström from Sirius and Tim Waker from Brommapojkarna, the away team managed to take the lead in the 32nd minute with a goal from Philip Hellqvist, assisted by Johan Falkmar. But just two minutes later, Sirius equalized through Philip Haglund, following a nice header from Sam Lundholm.

In the second half, Sirius continued to dominate, and Haglund secured his second goal of the day in the 56th minute, assisted by Mohammed Khalid Saeid. Minutes later, Robert Åhman Persson increased the lead to 3-1 for Sirius. Haglund completed his hat trick in the 63rd minute after an assist from Lundholm, making it 4-1 for Sirius.

Brommapojkarna then made two substitutions in hopes of turning the match around, but Sirius maintained their lead steadily. However, with ten minutes left on the clock, Hellqvist managed to score his second goal of the day with the help of an assist from Fritiof Björkén, bringing the score to 4-2 in favor of Sirius. Brommapojkarna received two warnings within just a few minutes (Ludvig Öhman Silwerfeldt and Kristján Flóki Finnbogason), but Sirius held on and secured an important victory at home in front of an enthusiastic crowd of 4,204 spectators.
