On a gray and rainy Sunday afternoon, over thirteen thousand supporters gathered at Gamla Ullevi to witness the match between IFK Göteborg and Malmö FF. The home team, sitting in 13th place in the table, faced visiting Malmö FF, who had solidified their position in 5th place. The match ended 0-3 in favor of the visitors, with Malmö FF taking home three points and increasing their advantage in the table.
