IFK Göteborg secured a convincing victory over IF Elfsborg on Sunday afternoon at home in Ullevi in front of a large crowd of 17,222 spectators. The match was officiated by Kaspar Sjöberg, with assistance from Daniel Wärnmark and Joakim Amri Nilsson.

IFK Göteborg took an early lead in the seventh minute when a warning was issued to IF Elfsborg's Benjamin Nygren.
