Kalmar FF secured an important away victory against GIF Sundsvall at NP3 Arena on Saturday afternoon. Kalmar scored their first goal in the 12th minute through Romario Pereira Sipiao and doubled their lead shortly before halftime with a goal from Mahmoud Eid. GIF Sundsvall managed to pull one back through Peter Wilson in the 34th minute, but it was not enough to salvage a point at home. Kalmar had several opportunities to extend their lead, but GIF Sundsvall's goalkeeper kept them at bay. Both teams made substitutions in the second half, and Kalmar managed to hold on to take home three valuable points. Yellow cards were issued to both teams in the second half, but Kalmar kept their cool and successfully defended against IF Sundsvall, winning the match 2-1.
