AIK achieved a convincing victory against IF Elfsborg at the National Arena. With an attendance of 12,076, the match started with a tough beginning for the visitors as Per Frick received an early yellow card in the ninth minute. AIK was the team that dominated from the start, and in the 24th minute, Kolbeinn Sigþórsson scored a beautiful goal, giving the home team the lead, assisted by Henok Goitom.

AIK continued to play strongly, and in the 39th minute, Sigþórsson scored his second goal of the day after an assist from Robert Lundström. IF Elfsborg attempted to get back into the match, but it was AIK who continued to maintain the upper hand.

IF Elfsborg continued to fight but were unable to create any dangerous chances against the home team. In the 70th minute, the visitors made their third substitution, with Marokhy Ndione coming on for Simon Lundevall.

AIK made their final substitution in the 75th minute when Kolbeinn Sigþórsson was replaced by Chinedu Ogbuke Obasi. IF Elfsborg received a yellow card in the 86th minute when Marokhy Ndione made a tough tackle.

The match ended with a convincing victory for AIK, 3-0, following a dominant performance. Referee Victor Wolf did a good job, assisted by Daniel Wärnmark and Niclas Ivarsson.
