Hammarby won a closely contested match against GIF Sundsvall on Monday evening. The first goal came from the visitors in the 30th minute when Darijan Bojanic converted a free kick into a fantastic goal that went into the goalkeeper's right corner. GIF Sundsvall responded quickly, just three minutes later, when Carlos Moros Gracia headed in a corner from David Batanero Puigbó. Just before halftime, Hammarby took the lead again with a second goal from Muamer Tankovic, who capitalized on a fine pass from Alexander Kacaniklic.

In the second half, it was GIF Sundsvall’s turn to equalize when Tobias Eriksson shot the ball into the net after a great dribble. Both teams continued to push for a winning goal, but it was the visitors who managed to score in the second extra time. Vidar Örn Kjartansson slotted the ball home after a pass from Mats Goberg Solheim, securing the victory for Hammarby.

The match saw both sides create many chances, but it was Hammarby who ultimately capitalized on the opportunities they had and won the match 3-2 in front of an excited crowd at NP3 Arena.
