AIK continued their winning form at home when they defeated Helsingborgs IF at the National Arena. The match started with a tough beginning as Helsingborg's Andreas Granqvist received an early warning. AIK took the lead after half an hour of play when Anton Salétros scored after a nice pass from Chinedu Ogbuke Obasi. Helsingborg had the opportunity to equalize shortly after, but their Anders Degn Randrup received a warning instead for a harsh tackle.

In the second half, players were substituted on both sides, with AIK taking control of the game. In the 80th minute, Chinedu Ogbuke Obasi increased AIK's lead to 2-0 after a nice pass from Henok Goitom.
