Hammarby is back on the winning track after defeating Athletic Eskilstuna 6-1 at Tunavallen. The home team started strong and took the lead already in the twelfth minute when Dzenis Kozica hammered the ball into the goalkeeper's right corner following a fine pass from Pavle Vagic.

However, Hammarby soon turned the match around, and the equalizer came just six minutes later when Nikola Djurdjic scored with a header from Imad Khalili's cross. Just five minutes later, Alexander Kacaniklic made it 2-1 with a header that the Athletic goalkeeper could only watch as it sailed into the net.

Halftime score 1-3.

In the second half, Hammarby completely took over the game, and Imad Khalili scored the most beautiful goal of the evening in the 50th minute when he beautifully curled the ball into the far corner of the net.

Hammarby also managed to score a fifth goal before the 70th minute when Muamer Tankovic tapped in a cross from Tim Waker. Djurdjic then completed his hat trick in the 67th minute when he easily rolled the ball into the net after being set up by Tankovic.

The match then began to wind down somewhat, and the teams started making substitutions considering the demanding schedule following the summer break. But Hammarby continued to maintain control and ultimately won by a resounding 6-1.

A big shout-out to Hammarby for bouncing back after the loss to Helsingborg last time and demonstrating an offensive strength that will make them dangerous in Allsvenskan this autumn.
