Athletic Eskilstuna secured an important away victory as they defeated Östersund 2-1 at Jämtkraft Arena in Allsvenskan. After a closely contested first half where the visiting team took the lead through Adi Nalic in the 16th minute, Östersund equalized through Hosam Aiesh in the 42nd minute.

In the second half, Athletic increased their tempo and created several dangerous chances. After a strong start, they were rewarded with a second goal in the match from Nalic again, following a pass from Dzenis Kozica in the 90th minute.
