It was an exciting match at Tunavallen as Athletic Eskilstuna hosted AIK in the Allsvenskan. In front of a crowd of 6,037, the teams were ready to face each other. Referee Bojan Pandzic and his assistant referees Joakim Amri Nilsson and Daniel Gustavsson were set to oversee the match.

AIK continued to push after the break, and after an hour of play, Sebastian Larsson scored the leading goal from the penalty spot. Nabil Bahoui was cheered by the fans as he scored twice in just a few minutes. First, he netted a header from a pass by Heradi Rashidi, and then, following an assist from Tarik Elyounoussi.
Athletic Eskilstuna managed to reduce the score to 2-4 in injury time when Ousmane Camara put the ball in the net, but it was only enough for a consolation goal for the home crowd.
AIK thus won the match 4-2 and could head back to Stockholm with three important points. Yellow cards were issued to Anton Salétros and Kolbeinn Sigþórsson from AIK during the match, and a substitution was made for Athletic Eskilstuna when Onyedikachukwu Samuel Nnamani replaced Jesper Björkman. An exciting match full of action ended with an important victory for AIK.
