Hammarby hosted Helsingborgs IF at Tele2 Arena in front of an audience of 22,137. Hammarby continued to press, and shortly after the first goal, Muamer Tankovic made it 2-0 after a collaboration with Kacaniklic.
In the second half, both teams made substitutions to improve their play. Helsingborgs IF's Armin Gigovic came on in the 58th minute, and Tobias Mikkelsen came on in the 68th minute, while Hammarby's Vladimir Rodic was substituted in the 41st minute and Tim Waker in the 64th minute.
Helsingborgs IF began to show more fighting spirit, and Alexander Farnerud scored 2-1 in the 83rd minute, thanks to a nice pass from Andreas Landgren. At the end of the match, Rodic was booked for a tough tackle, and the match ended 2-1 in favor of Hammarby.
Referee Kristoffer Karlsson and his assistants Johan Thalin and Mark Josef did a great job managing an otherwise well-played match. Hammarby was the better team and secured an important victory against Helsingborgs IF.
