Hammarby had a clear advantage going into the match, lying in fourth place in the table, while GIF Sundsvall was last. And it was also Hammarby who grabbed the baton right away.

After 15 minutes, the first goal came. Alexander Kacaniklic received a nice pass and put the ball safely into the goal behind a chance-less Sundsvall goalkeeper.
