AIK won a well-played and hard-fought match against Östersund with a score of 3-1 at Jämtkraft Arena. Eighth-placed Östersund fought hard, but it was fourth-placed AIK that was the better team.

AIK took the lead in the second half when Anton Salétros found the back of the net after a nice pass from Rasmus Lindkvist. Östersund picked up the pace and equalized through Blair Sebastian Turgott after a pass from Charlie Colkett.

Östersund then lost focus, and Eirik Haugan received two yellow cards and was sent off. AIK took advantage of the numerical superiority and managed to score two goals in quick succession. Rasmus Lindkvist became the goal-scorer after a lovely pass from Nabil Bahoui, and Heradi Rashidi sealed the match with a goal in stoppage time after a pass from Enock Kofi Adu.

AIK are now four points behind league leaders Malmö, while Östersund remains in eighth place. Referee Kaspar Sjöberg and his assistants Niclas Ivarsson and Mark Josef maintained a good level during the match. The attendance of 5,107 showed that there was a strong interest in the match.
