Malmö FF demonstrated their dominance when they faced Kalmar FF at Guldfågeln Arena in Allsvenskan. Just three minutes into the match, the away team took the lead thanks to a precise Søren Rieks, who redirected a fine assist from Arnor Traustason.

Kalmar FF tried to come back into the match but quickly faced difficulties when Romario Pereira Sipiao was forced to leave the pitch after a tough tackle and a red card just eight minutes into the game.
