It was a lovely Sunday afternoon at Stockholm Stadium when Hammarby hosted AIK in Allsvenskan. With 27,329 spectators in attendance, including a vibrant away section, the atmosphere in the arena was electric.

The match started at a high tempo, with both teams eager to take the lead. After 26 minutes, AIK made their first substitution as Kolbeinn Sigþórsson replaced Chinedu Ogbuke Obasi. But just four minutes later, Hammarby scored the first goal of the year in the match when Vladimir Rodic found the net with an assist from Jeppe Andrup Andersen.

In the 31st minute, Rodic was also the first to receive a yellow card from referee Kristoffer Karlsson. AIK desperately tried to catch up, and at the 34-minute mark, Sigþórsson also expressed his frustration by receiving a yellow card.

The second half began with Hammarby continuing to be strong, and after 56 minutes, Vladimir Rodic scored again, this time with an assist from Darijan Bojanic. AIK didn't give up, and after 68 minutes, Karol Mets took the opportunity to reduce the score for AIK with an assist from Nabil Bahoui.

Unfortunately, Mets quickly picked up a yellow card just one minute after scoring, and only two minutes later, AIK's goalkeeper Oscar Linnér also received a yellow card.

Both teams continued to make substitutions, and Hammarby made a change in the 80th minute when Serge-Junior Martinsson Ngouali replaced Muamer Tankovic. AIK desperately attempted to equalize, but Hammarby's defense was too strong for them.

Hammarby also substituted the match's standout player, Vladimir Rodic, in the 86th minute to protect their lead. AIK made their final substitution in the 84th minute when Felix Michel replaced Panajotis Dimitriadis.

Despite AIK keeping up the pressure, they were unable to catch up, and the match ended with a 2-1 victory for Hammarby. Alexander Kacaniklic and Tim Waker were substituted in at the end of the match for Hammarby, and besides the goals, both teams made several attempts to score more. It was an exciting encounter that showed both teams are ready to fight hard in Allsvenskan. Hammarby sits in fourth place while AIK is in third place in the table.
