Friends Arena was well-attended as AIK battled against Örebro on Saturday afternoon. AIK was the stronger team on paper, but Örebro came out hard from the start and seemed to challenge the black and yellow side. However, it was AIK who emerged victorious when the match was over, with a final score of 2-0.

The first goal came in the 54th minute when Henok Goitom managed to head the ball in after a fine assist from Sebastian Larsson. Örebro's players tried to come back with several attempts, but AIK had control of the match.

AIK received a warning when Anton Salétros was involved in a tough challenge, and Örebro continued to press. But AIK held firm and replaced Anton Salétros with Heradi Rashidi in hopes of strengthening the team.

Örebro continued to try to catch up, but AIK capitalized on their chances better. This became apparent in the 67th minute when Örebro substituted Johan Bertilsson for Daniel Björnkvist, but it did not help. Instead, Örebro brought in Niclas Bergmark for Yaser Safa Kasim in the 71st minute, but AIK kept fighting. AIK then substituted Kolbeinn Sigþórsson for Karol Mets in the 89th minute, a change that would prove to be successful.

In the final minutes, Johan Bertilsson received a warning for Örebro in the 90th minute. Then AIK struck again in the sixth minute of stoppage time when Henok Goitom managed to score another goal—this time with an assist from Karol Mets—leading to a final score of 2-0 in favor of AIK. It was a commendable victory for the black and yellow side in the battle for league positions.
