IF Elfsborg secured an impressive 5-0 away victory against Mjällby AIF. The match was played on Thursday evening at Strandvallen A-plan in front of an empty crowd.

Just 10 minutes into the game, IF Elfsborg took the lead through Gustav Henriksson. The goal came from a header following a fine assist from Jesper Karlsson. Just a minute later, Elfsborg doubled their lead when Karlsson found the net himself, this time assisted by Johan Larsson.

Mjällby sought to turn the match around and made a substitution in the 81st minute, with Taylor Silverholt replacing Mamudu Moro.

The match concluded with two yellow cards for Mjällby. First, Eric Björkander received a warning in the 84th minute, and then Joel Nilsson was cautioned in the 87th minute.
