Hammarby played exceptionally well and dominated the match against IFK Göteborg at Gamla Ullevi. In the 20th minute, the away team took the lead through Aron Johansson, scoring his fifth goal of the season. IFK Göteborg tried to bounce back, but were instead cautioned in the 31st minute when Mads Fenger Nielsen received a yellow card. IFK Göteborg desperately tried to come back, but their efforts were in vain. Instead, it was Hammarby who added another goal in the 87th minute, marking a hat trick for Muamer Tankovic, his sixth goal of the season. Tankovic was assisted by Gustav Ludwigson for the third time in the match.
At the end of the match, both teams made further substitutions. Imad Khalili and Simon Sandberg came on for Hammarby in place of Jeppe Andrup Andersen and Tim Waker.
The match ended in a resounding victory for Hammarby, 4-0 against IFK Göteborg, who continue their poor form and have yet to win in their last 14 matches.
