Unfortunately for the home team, it was Halmstad that secured the victory. In the fourth minute of stoppage time, Östersund scored an own goal, allowing Halmstad to take the lead at 1-0.

One of the Östersund players, Henrik Bellman, received a yellow card in the 88th minute, which was the last incident before the referee blew the whistle to end the match.

Halmstad could celebrate yet another victory while Östersund continued to struggle to find their form. The match showcased Halmstad's strength, and they continued to impress with their unbeaten streak.
