AIK and Djurgården faced off in an exciting match on Sunday afternoon at the National Arena, Friends Arena, in front of an audience of 42,539 spectators. Referee Glenn Nyberg officiated the match, with Mahbod Beigi and Andreas Söderkvist as assistant referees.

The match started intensely and just 11 minutes in, Djurgården received a red card. Rasmus Schüller was shown his second yellow card and left the pitch. Shortly after, Djurgården received another warning as Kalle Holmberg picked up his first yellow card of the match. AIK was also cautioned when Nicolas Stefanelli received a yellow card after 28 minutes.

In the 37th minute, Djurgården made a substitution, with Jesper Löfgren replacing Kalle Holmberg. However, Löfgren received a yellow card just four minutes later for a foul. Before half-time, AIK created a moment of pure magic. The match continued with intensity, and in the 77th minute, AIK's goalkeeper Kristoffer Nordfeldt received a yellow card. AIK made two more substitutions late in the match, with Per Karlsson replacing Nabil Bahoui in the 84th minute and Bojan Radulovic Samoukovic coming on for Zachary Elbouzedi in the 88th minute.
