AIK hosted the heated Stockholm derby against Djurgården in the Allsvenskan on Sunday afternoon. The two teams met at the national arena, Friends Arena, in front of an impressive crowd of 41,407 spectators. Glenn Nyberg was the referee, assisted by Mahbod Beigi and Andreas Söderkvist.

AIK was in tenth place in the table before the match, while Djurgården was in fifth place. There was a nervous and tense atmosphere on the pitch.

In the closing stages of the match, Djurgården was desperate to equalize, leading to Isak Hien receiving a yellow card for a hard tackle in the 78th minute. Djurgården also made their final substitution in the 79th minute, with Kalle Holmberg replacing Emmanuel Justine Rabby Banda.

AIK made their last substitution in the 82nd minute, with Per Karlsson coming on for goalscorer Nicolas Stefanelli.
