An exciting Allsvenskan match took place on Friday evening between the home team GIF Sundsvall and visiting Malmö FF at NP3 Arena. With an attendance of 3,251 people, an intense and entertaining match was expected.
The referee for the evening was Victor Wolf, assisted by Daniel Ekman and Anton Sjöberg.
Malmö FF started the match strongly and took the lead in the 7th minute through Sergio Peña Flores. Anders Bleg Christiansen was the one who set up Peña to slot the ball into the net. However, GIF Sundsvall responded quickly, and in the 14th minute, Ronaldo Damus equalized, assisted by Pontus Engblom.
The match continued at a high pace, with both teams creating several dangerous goal opportunities. It was GIF Sundsvall who drew the longest straw, as Daniel Stensson made it 2-1 for the home team in the 31st minute. Forrest Lasso provided the assist, allowing Sundsvall to go into halftime with a lead.
In the 33rd minute, Malmö FF’s Erdal Rakip received a yellow card from the referee. Malmö FF opted to make a substitution in the 37th minute, with Malik Abubakari replacing Søren Rieks in an attempt to turn the match around.

The match became increasingly intense towards the end, and Malmö FF’s Sebastian Nanasi received a yellow card in the 90th minute. However, GIF Sundsvall held on and was ultimately able to celebrate a 2-1 victory on the scoreboard. A well-played match that offered excitement and creative football from both teams.
