After an hour of play, Viktor Granath increased the lead to 2-0 with a well-placed shot following a fine pass from Erik Ahlstrand.

AIK did not give up and pulled one back four minutes later when Rui Manuel Muati Modesto scored after a good combination with Jetmir Haliti. John Guidetti was substituted in for AIK in hopes of salvaging a point, but it did not help.
