Kalmar FF secured a well-deserved victory when they faced Halmstad at Guldfågeln Arena on Sunday. The match started evenly, but it was the home team that took the lead in the 14th minute. Mileta Rajovic, wearing number 9, scored the first goal with a header, assisted by Simon Skrabb, number 11.

Kalmar continued to press and created several chances, but they were unable to score more goals. In the 36th minute, Rajovic received a yellow card for an unnecessary tackle.

In the second half, Halmstad brought in Alexander Johansson in an attempt to create more offense, but Kalmar still controlled the match. In the 66th minute, Noah Shamoun was substituted off and replaced by Deniz Hümmet.

Kalmar would eventually score their second goal in the 78th minute. Once again, it was Mileta Rajovic who found the net, this time assisted by Simon Skrabb.

Halmstad fought hard but could never find their way back into the match. Gabriel Wallentin received a yellow card in the 84th minute, and in the 86th minute, Halmstad made their final substitution, bringing Gustav Friberg on for Benjamin Hjertstrand.

When the referee blew the whistle to end the match, the score was 2-0 in favor of Kalmar FF. A well-deserved victory for the home favorites who will continue their pursuit of the top of the Allsvenskan.
