A beautiful day at Borås Arena as IF Elfsborg and Malmö FF faced off in an exciting Allsvenskan match. The attendance was high, with 13,580 fans there to cheer on their teams. The match was officiated by Joakim Östling, assisted by Simon Kristensson and Anton Sjöberg as assistant referees.

It was IF Elfsborg who started the strongest, and in the 32nd minute, the first goal came, scored by Sveinn Guðjohnsen, with an assist from Ahmed Qasem, giving the home team an early lead. Just four minutes later, Gustaf Lagerbielke raised the excitement further by scoring a beautiful header, assisted by Johan Larsson, which meant that the home team increased their lead to 2-0.
