Hammarby defeated IFK Norrköping FK in a close match in front of an audience of 21,348 on Sunday afternoon at Tele2 Arena. The first half was evenly matched with few chances for either side. IFK Norrköping FK had a dangerous free kick in the 22nd minute but couldn't score.

In the second half, Hammarby's Adi Nalic opened the scoring in the 56th minute with an assist from Simon Strand. Shortly thereafter, IFK Norrköping FK made two substitutions in an attempt to regain the initiative. They had some opportunities but could not score the first goal.
