Match Report:
The rainy Sunday afternoon at Grimsta IP featured an exciting match between the home team IF Brommapojkarna and the visiting Kalmar FF. In front of a crowd of just under 1,000 spectators, Kalmar started strong and took the lead after only seven minutes through Deniz Hümmet, assisted by Simon Skrabb. After that, Kalmar continued to dominate, and in the 36th minute, Lars Sætra headed in to make it 0-2, again assisted by Skrabb. Before halftime, Hümmet scored his second goal of the day to make it 0-3 for Kalmar, this time set up by Noah Shamoun.
During halftime, the home team made three substitutions, and Zeidane Inoussa came on to inject some pace into the attack. In the 56th minute, Inoussa got on the scoresheet himself, heading in a goal to reduce the deficit, assisted by Samuel Leach Holm. Now IF Brommapojkarna rallied and managed to get another goal in the Kalmar FF net in the 74th minute, again through Holm with an assist from Inoussa. Despite several attempts to equalize and make the final score 3-3, the home team could not find the back of the net, and the match ended with an away victory for Kalmar FF.
The match was characterized by offensive play from both teams, with several substitutions made throughout the match in an effort to take control of the game. Referee Adi Aganovic maintained a firm hand and issued Robert Gojani a yellow card in the 55th minute. Kalmar FF extended their lead thanks to good teamwork and constant attacking play. IF Brommapojkarna’s attempts to reduce the score in the first half were unsuccessful, and it was only in the second half that the team showed fight and scored two goals, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to earn any points. Kalmar FF thus secured an important away victory against a tough opponent and climbed two places in the standings, while IF Brommapojkarna continues to struggle in the mid-table.
