Malmö FF won a tight match against IFK Norrköping FK at Platinumcars Arena in the Allsvenskan. After a balanced first half where both teams had chances to score, the away team took the lead in the 60th minute. Isaac Thelin headed the ball in after a well-placed corner from Taha Abdi Ali.

IFK Norrköping FK then desperately tried to level the score but never managed to find the mark in front of goal. Instead, the team picked up several warnings and had to substitute both Daniel Fritz Eid and Carl Björk. Malmö FF also made several substitutions, including Lasse Berg Johnsen and Søren Rieks coming on to strengthen the team.
