One of the hottest matches of the season was scheduled as Tyresö FF faced the league leaders LdB FC Malmö on home turf. In front of a packed and fiercely cheering crowd at Tyresövallen, the home team took the lead after just four minutes when Josefine Öqvist managed to push the ball into the net behind Malmö's goalkeeper.
Malmö had several dangerous chances to equalize, but it wasn't until the 27th minute that Gabriella Maria Melis broke Tyresö's goal drought and made it 1-1. After that, Malmö pressed for another goal, and in the 43rd minute, they took the lead through Linda Nordin, who received a pass from Annika Kukkonen and placed the ball in the net.
In the second half, Tyresö substituted in Emilia Brodin and Sofie Persson in an attempt to get back into the match. Malmö played aggressively and received two yellow cards during the game, one of which was to Sara Björk Gunnarsdottir who was booked in the 54th minute.
Unfortunately for Tyresö, they received a red card in the 86th minute when Line Røddik Hansen was sent off after a tackle. Despite a hard-fought effort from the home team, they never managed to come back in the match, and it ended 1-2 in favor of LdB FC Malmö.
Tyresö FF is now in fourth place in the table, while LdB FC Malmö continues to lead the league. It was a strong performance from both teams, and the presence of the crowd created a truly wonderful football atmosphere at Tyresövallen.
