But Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC didn't back down and regained the lead in the 31st minute through Christen Press, assisted by Catrine Johansson.
At the end of the first half, Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC extended their lead through Anita Asante, assisted by Sara Lindén, and the team went into halftime with a 3-1 lead. In the second half, several player substitutions were made by both teams in an attempt to influence the match dynamics and outcome.
Despite attempts from Piteå IF to come back, they were unable to reduce the deficit, and the match ended 1-3 in favor of Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC. With the victory, Göteborg climbed to 3rd place in the table while Piteå IF remained in 6th place. An exciting match with several good goals and chances from both teams.
