Tyresö faced Linköpings FC at home in front of 1,478 spectators on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Tyresö was leading the table ahead of the match while Linköping had not quite managed to gain momentum this season and was sitting in 7th place in the standings.

The match started evenly, with a high tempo from both teams. Linköping received an early yellow card in the 9th minute when Charlotte Rohlin was a bit too aggressive in a challenge. However, neither team managed to create any really dangerous scoring opportunities in the first half.

However, things got even worse for Linköping when Christen Press made it 2-0 in the 90th minute following a beautiful pass from none other than Kirsten Johanna Maria van de Ven. This secured three points for Tyresö and kept them at the top of the league.

The match concluded with a yellow card for Marta Vieira da Silva in the 90th minute. Tyresö ultimately won 2-0, a result that was not illogical considering their dominance throughout the match.
