Linköping FC emerged victorious in today's match against Piteå IF at Arena Linköping in front of a crowd of 632 spectators. The referee, Annika Andric, officiated the match, assisted by Magnus Larsson and Christian Tennstedt.

The match started evenly, but it was Linköping FC who took the lead in the 33rd minute through Jessica Wik, who pushed the ball into the net after a fine combination. In the 64th minute, Charlotte Rohlin extended the lead to 3-0 for Linköping FC after a nice assist from Renée Slegers. However, Piteå IF did not give up and pulled one back to make it 3-1 in the 70th minute through Emilia Brodin, assisted by Hallbera Gudny Gisladottir.

The match continued to be played with high intensity, and several substitutions were made on both sides, but the score held, and Linköping FC could finally celebrate the victory with a 3-1 result. This was an important step in the pursuit of positions at the top of the Damallsvenskan.
