Piteå IF faced Kristianstads DFF at LF Arena in an exciting match in the Damallsvenskan on Sunday afternoon. The attendance was 1,161, and the referee for the day was Camilla Eriksson, assisted by Ali-Reza Rezaie and André Samuelsson.

Early in the match, in the 2nd minute, Piteå took the lead with a goal from Josefin Johansson after an assist from June Pedersen. However, Kristianstad's Margrét Vidarsdóttir equalized to 1-1 after a while, with an assist from Alice Nilsson.

Later in the match, Johansson scored her second goal of the day, giving Piteå the lead again, this time with an assist from Anna Westerlund. Kristianstad's Linnea Liljegärd equalized once more, with an assist from Sif Atladottir.

In the second half, we saw two substitutions, with Johanna Andersson coming on for Elisabet Klinga for Piteå and Olivia Welin replacing Atladottir for Kristianstad. Johanna received a yellow card just 70 minutes into the match.

Victora Forsmark was substituted in for Francisca Ordega for Piteå, while Kristianstad replaced Therese Ivarsson with Elena Sadiku, both substitutions occurring after the 80th minute.

But it was Johansson who became the match hero for Piteå, scoring her third goal of the day, which meant the match ended 3-2 in favor of Piteå IF after an assist from Pedersen in the second minute of injury time.

It was a wonderful match to watch, with a lot of thrilling action, and Piteå IF deserves a big round of applause for their victory.
