FC Rosengård took the lead already in the 19th minute when Anja Mittag scored 1-0 with a nice assist from Lina Nilsson. Just seven minutes later, Alexandra Lowe Riley extended the lead to 2-0 after a fine pass from Therese Sjögran.

After the break, FC Rosengård continued to dominate the match, and Sara Björk Gunnarsdottir made it 3-0 in the 63rd minute after a perfect pass from Anja Mittag. However, Vittsjö GIK managed to score a consolation goal in the 72nd minute through Johanna Ejdelind, but it proved to be too little and too late.

FC Rosengård kept pressing on, and Ramona Bachmann scored both 4-1 and 5-1 within two minutes; the assist for the first goal came from Nathalie Hoff Persson, and the second from Anja Mittag. Nathalie Hoff Persson herself also got to celebrate a goal when she scored 6-1 in the 90th minute, assisted by Therese Sjögran.

The match ended perfectly for FC Rosengård when Sarah Mellouk scored 7-1 in the 93rd minute. A completely dominant performance from the home team that showed why they are one of the best teams in the Damallsvenskan.
