Piteå IF secured an impressive victory against Vittsjö GIK at Vittsjö IP A-plan in the Damallsvenskan. Just three minutes into the match, the referee brandished a yellow card to a Piteå IF player, Pauline Hammarlund, following a tough tackle. It didn’t take long before the away team took the lead, as Emelie Asplund Lövgren headed the ball in after a great assist from June Pedersen in the sixteenth minute.
