On Wednesday evening, Piteå IF and Vittsjö GIK faced off in an exciting match at LF Arena in front of an audience of 1,093 spectators. The match was well officiated by referee Malin Johansson and assistant referees Oscar Johansson and Nikolaj Vikström. Piteå IF won the match with a score of 2-1 after an intense game.

It took Piteå IF 48 minutes to score the first goal of the match when Elin Bragnum, with a nice assist from Tempest-Marie Norlin, skillfully put the ball in the net, giving the home team the lead. Piteå continued to extend their lead when Felicia Rogic scored a beautiful goal, again assisted by Norlin, making it 2-0 in the 58th minute.

Vittsjö GIK brought on Nkemjika Ezurike in the 74th minute in hopes of turning the match around. Piteå IF substituted Ronja Aronsson and Lotta Ökvist in the 62nd minute, and Klara Grahn in the 78th minute, to maintain their lead.

Piteå IF's Ronja Aronsson received a yellow card in the 88th minute. Vittsjö GIK substituted Ebba Hed in the 89th minute to come up with a new attacking strategy.

The match took a dramatic turn when Anna Hjälmkvist reduced the deficit for Vittsjö GIK in the 94th minute, with a fine assist from Sandra Lynn. However, there was not enough time for Vittsjö GIK to score more goals, and the match ended 2-1 in favor of Piteå IF.

A well-deserved result for Piteå IF, who managed to maintain their lead and secure three much-needed points in the league standings. Vittsjö GIK still has a lot of work to do if they want to climb up the table, but they showed at the end of the match that they can deliver, nonetheless.
