The match between Kvarnsvedens IK and Piteå IF at Stora Enso Arena offered a truly exciting event that ended in a 2-2 draw.

It was Piteå IF that took the lead already in the fourth minute through June Pedersen, who headed the ball in after a corner. The team then extended their lead in the 21st minute with a goal from Nina Jakobsson, assisted by Frida Abrahamsson.

Kvarnsvedens IK, however, did not give up and reduced the deficit in the 27th minute with a penalty kick scored by Tiffany Weimer. The team continued to fight and managed to equalize in the 38th minute through Tabitha Chawinga, assisted by Elizabeth Addo.

In the second half, both teams continued to create chances, but neither was able to find the winning goal. The match thus ended 2-2, and the teams shared the points.

A good effort from both teams that provided an entertaining match for the 667 spectators in attendance. Referee Annika Andric maintained good control of the match and kept a nice tempo. Now both teams look forward to their next match in the Damallsvenskan.
