On this Saturday afternoon, IFK Kalmar and FC Rosengård faced off at Gröndals IP 1 in front of an audience of 1,398. Despite both teams being on opposite sides of the middle of the table, it was the visiting Rosengård who decisively defeated the home team 4-0.
The match began evenly with chances for both sides. However, after 13 minutes, Rosengård took the lead through Anja Mittag, who pushed the ball past Kalmar's goalkeeper. Kalmar fought hard but the score remained the same until halftime.
After the break, Rosengård completely took over the match, and after 32 minutes, Lisa-Marie Utland extended the lead with a header from close range. Kalmar tried to find their way back into the match after making changes at halftime and made a couple of additional substitutions later in the match, but it was to no avail.
Even though Rosengård substituted Mittag after half an hour, the team still managed to extend the lead. Sanne Troelsgaard became the scorer through an elegant pass from Alexandra Lowe Riley. Troelsgaard was not finished with scoring for the day, as she added another goal to make it 4-0 after 58 minutes.
Kalmar tried to keep pushing, but things were not going their way this day. The match ended 4-0 in favor of FC Rosengård, who could head home with three important points ahead of their upcoming matches.
