On Sunday afternoon, 473 soccer fans gathered at Visma Arena in Växjö to watch the match between Växjö DFF and Piteå IF DFF in the Damallsvenskan. According to plans, the match was expected to be quite exciting, but it was Piteå who would take the win with a score of 1-0.

In the second half, the home team fought hard to equalize, but Piteå had a solid defensive strategy and won several important balls. In the 58th minute, Alexandra Jonasson and Jonna Ståhl were substituted, and Växjö changed their tactics. Despite making another substitution, and Piteå also bringing in two players in the 68th and 69th minutes, neither team scored again.

Towards the end of the match, Växjö earned several corners, which put pressure on Piteå, forcing them to fight to keep the ball away from their goal. But by the end of the match, no more goals were scored, and Piteå could take home the three important points after a tough match. A final warning in the 44th minute was given to Jocelynn Blankenship of Piteå.

Referee Niklas Andersson had just blown the whistle, and it was with a clear sense of disappointment that the audience left Visma Arena after the match.
