It was a sunny Sunday afternoon at Visma Arena in Växjö when Växjö DFF hosted IFK Kalmar in an exciting Damallsvenskan match in front of 788 spectators. Referee Håkan Söderman officiated the match with assistance from Barech Afzal Khan and Hana Mohammad Saleh.

Just four minutes into the game, the home team took the lead when Anna Anvegård scored after a lovely pass from Jelena Cankovic. Only eight minutes later, Nellie Karlsson doubled the lead with a header, assisted by Jelena Cankovic.

IFK Kalmar did not give up and reduced the deficit to 2-1 through Amanda Arnautovic in the 33rd minute, but Växjö DFF had more to offer. Jelena Cankovic herself became a goalscorer, increasing the lead to 3-1 just five minutes into the second half.

Sofia Johansson then sealed the match with her goal in the 57th minute, assisted by Anna Anvegård. Despite several attempts from both teams to score more goals, the match ended at 4-1.

Växjö DFF delivered an impressive performance and secured a convincing victory at home. After the match, it was clear that Växjö DFF continued to impress in the Damallsvenskan.
