Hammarby IF FF faced IFK Kalmar in an exciting home match on Sunday. With an audience of 920 people and referee Ulrica Löv officiating, it was a match everyone had been looking forward to. Before the match, Hammarby was in sixth place in the standings while Kalmar was at the bottom.
The match started strong, but it took until the 33rd minute for the first goal to be scored. It was Olga Ekblom who found the back of the net, and the goal was primarily a header. Hammarby continued to pressure Kalmar, and in the 57th minute, they scored their second goal. Astrid Larsson put the ball in the net after a nice pass from Amanda Johansson.
After the second goal, there were quite a few substitutions on both sides. Hammarby brought in Milica Mijatovic and Frida Sjöberg, while IFK Kalmar substituted Moa Svensson and Emma Öjert. Despite the substitutions, neither team managed to score again, and the match ended 2-0 in favor of Hammarby.
After the match, Hammarby remained in sixth place in the standings, while Kalmar still remained at the bottom. Everyone agreed it was an exciting match and that both teams fought hard on the field.
