It was an exciting match that took place at Vittsjö IP on Sunday afternoon. Kristianstads DFF took the lead just 10 minutes in with a penalty that Therese Ivarsson confidently converted into a goal. Vittsjö GIK tried to push for an equalizer but received two yellow cards before the halftime break.

In the 41st minute, Kristianstads DFF extended their lead through Rita Chikwelu, who scored with a header after a nice assist from Ogonna Chukwudi. Before the half was over, Vittsjö GIK's Johanna Andersson also received a yellow card.

The second half started with a yellow card for Kristianstads DFF's Mia Carlsson, and Vittsjö GIK substituted in Tiffany Devonna Cameron and Ebba Hed to try to shake things up. This proved successful as Clara Markstedt reduced the deficit to 1-2 in the 70th minute.

However, there would be no more goals for Vittsjö GIK, who also saw their coaches Matthew Ross and Thomas Mårtensson sent off in the 70th minute. Kristianstads DFF held on and even managed to bring on two substitute players towards the end of the match. Josefine Rybrink received a yellow card for Kristianstad during injury time, but it did not affect the final result. The match ended 1-2 in favor of Kristianstads DFF.
