It was a sunny Saturday afternoon at Rydets IP when Onsala BK faced IFK Värnamo in an exciting match in Division 1 Mellersta Götaland for women. The audience, consisting of about 70 people, were present to see the two teams battle for points.
The home team, Onsala BK, started the match strongest and took the lead just 2 minutes in when Linnéa Bjöörn scored to make it 1-0. Just three minutes later, Ida Jacobson doubled the lead to 2-0 for Onsala. Bjöörn was quick to capitalize again, scoring her second goal of the day, and the team’s third, in the 17th minute.

At halftime, IFK Värnamo made a substitution with Amanda Heiel replacing Ronja Fröberg. But this did not stop Onsala from continuing to score; in the 48th minute, Bjöörn netted her fourth goal of the day, and Ida Jacobson added her second goal in the 82nd minute. IFK Värnamo managed to score another goal through Fanny Holmberg in the 62nd minute, but it was not enough to threaten Onsala's lead.
The match ended 7-2 in favor of Onsala BK, who secured three points. Referee Slavisa Stijepic blew the whistle after an eventful afternoon at Rydets IP. An impressive performance by Linnéa Bjöörn with her hat trick and Ida Jacobson with two goals for Onsala BK.
