Jitex Mölndal BK made a big impression when they visited Finnvedsvallen for a match against IFK Värnamo in Division 1 Mellersta Götaland for women on Sunday afternoon. Just four minutes into the game, the visitors took the lead through Nora Rönnfors, and just a few minutes later, Marika Bergman Lundin received a yellow card for Jitex.

IFK Värnamo desperately tried to equalize, but after 18 minutes, Julia Strahl extended the lead to 2-0 in favor of Jitex Mölndal BK. The home team made several substitutions in hopes of changing the course of the match, but Jitex Mölndal BK continued to dominate.

IFK Värnamo did not advance in the standings and remains in seventh place, while Jitex Mölndal BK continues to lead after a truly strong performance away from home. Milan Djordjevic officiated the match with assistance from Mehmed Kulasin and Rasmus Karlsson. Only 129 spectators attended the match in person.
