The match started with a high tempo, and it didn't take long before BK Häcken took the lead with 1-0 through Matilda Ekblom in the 21st minute. Just eight minutes later, Elin Flakberg extended the lead to 2-0 for the visiting team.

However, Göteborgs DFF didn't give up and reduced the score through Olivia Alcaide just before halftime, which gave them hope for the second half. But BK Häcken was stronger, and Molly Johansson increased the score to 3-1 in the 50th minute. Elin Flakberg found the net again in the 61st minute, and BK Häcken now had a comfortable 4-1 lead.
