IK Brage fought hard to equalize, but Gefle's defense remained solid and held strong. In the 40th minute, Therese Söderlind scored Gefle's second goal of the match, giving the home team a comfortable 2-0 lead.

A key reason why IK Brage couldn’t reduce the deficit in the second half was their tough playing style. In the 69th minute, Fia Jansson came in for Gefle, while IK Brage made two substitutions. Engla Svärdhagen replaced Ella Foberg, and shortly before a warning for Gefle's Ida Backlund, she was substituted in favor of Jansson.
Johanna Rundström replaced Elin Hjälte for IK Brage in the 81st minute, but they were unable to create any scoring opportunities, and Gefle won the match 2-0.
Emma Halvarsson received a late warning for IK Brage in the 85th minute. Referee Mimmi Damtew managed the match in a professional and fair manner. Gefle's victory gave the team a much-needed boost after a tough start to the season.
