It was an exciting match between Stenungsunds IF and IK Gauthiod at the Bästkustställningar Arena. The attendance of 97 spectators created a great atmosphere, and referee Elsa Nylander kept her cool throughout the game.
Stenungsunds IF took the lead in the 23rd minute through Andrea Markusson, who scored and gave her team a 1-0 lead. But just one minute later, IK Gauthiod made a comeback, and Sofia Olsson managed to equalize to 1-1.
In the 67th minute, Stenungsunds IF regained the lead, this time through Evelina Persson, who shot in to make it 2-1. However, the joy was short-lived as Marianne Mellesdal received her second yellow card and was sent off in the 72nd minute.
Despite playing with one fewer player, Stenungsunds IF held on until the 90th minute, when IK Gauthiod managed to equalize again. Jonna Schoultz converted a penalty, and the match ended 2-2.
It was a well-played match with a lot of fighting spirit from both teams, and the spectators enjoyed an exciting event at the Bästkustställningar Arena. After the final whistle, both teams shared the points, and both can be satisfied with their performance.
