Lunnevi IP A-plan was filled with excitement and anticipation when IK Gauthiod faced Ljungskile SK Women's Football in Division 1 Norra Götaland on Wednesday evening. In front of a crowd of 130 people, the teams took to the field to compete for three points.

The first half presented a balanced match where both teams had opportunities to take the lead. However, despite several fine attacks from both IK Gauthiod and Ljungskile SK, the score remained 0-0 at halftime.

The second half, however, was a different story. Just a few minutes after kickoff, Ljungskile SK picked up the pace and the opening goal wouldn’t take long to arrive. In the 49th minute, Ida Hansson struck with a well-placed shot that sneaked past IK Gauthiod's goalkeeper and put Ljungskile SK in the lead.

IK Gauthiod fought to get back into the match and created several dangerous chances, but Ljungskile SK stood strong in defense. In the 66th minute, Amanda Gustavsson scored, extending Ljungskile SK's lead to 2-0 after a nice attack.

IK Gauthiod desperately tried to reduce the deficit, but Ljungskile SK held firm. Despite several substitutions from both teams, the score remained unchanged at the final whistle, allowing Ljungskile SK to claim victory with a score of 2-0.

Referee Anders Orlinder and his assistants Patrik Nilsson and Heidi Pagels blew the final whistle after an exciting event at Lunnevi IP A-plan. Ljungskile SK could head home with three important points while IK Gauthiod will need to regroup for their next match.
